By Moses Darah
The Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State, has praised the remarkable infrastructure development in Delta and Rivers States. AbdulRazaq at the NGF’s New Year visit to the State House, Abuja highlighted the impressive road construction projects in these States, assuring President Bola Ahmed Tinubu that he will witness the transformation firsthand during his visits to various states in Nigeria.
This development is a significant boost to the region’s economy and quality of life. The Governors of Delta and Rivers States, Sheriff Oborevwori and Siminalayi Fubara have demonstrated their commitment to improving infrastructure, which will definitely attract investments, create jobs, and enhance the overall well-being of their citizens.
It is worth noting that the Niger Delta region, where Delta and Rivers states are located, has faced significant environmental challenges due to oil exploration and extraction. However, with the current focus on infrastructure development by Oborevwori and Fubara, there is hope for a brighter future for the region.
